Edinburgh Scholarship...
The Janet Hansen Memorial Edinburgh Scholarship has been established as a tribute to Janet’s years of service to her community. One of her desires was to provide support for children from hard working families who may qualify for student loans, but do not qualify for most scholarships or grants. She also wanted to provide support for students pursuing a trade school as well as those those going to college.

The scholarship has been set up through the Johnson County Community Foundation. The Founding Donors wish to make yearly awards from the fund while continuing to grow the fund for perpetuity. All awards are distributed through the Foundation.
The scholarship is available to all graduating seniors from Edinburgh High School. Applications must be submitted to the Student Guidance Councelor by February 15th of each year. Apply at the Johnson County Community Foundation and read the scholarship guide to find the submission criteria for this scholarship. Applications are reviewed for award through a blind review process by a scholarship selection committee made up of representatives from the local community.
